PAINTING COURSE: ANCIENT TECHNIQUES
The course initiates the students to the painting techniques practiced along with 1300 to 1500 trough the study of the major works of art of that age from Giotto to Michelangelo going through Leonardo.
Students will put into practice the knowledge acquired by painting own copies of the work of art studied in the course, in order to gain knowledge of the fundamental techniques used by these great artists.
The egg tempera, gold leaf and oil colors are only some of the techniques the students will learn and put into practice from supports preparation to the painting itself.
The lessons are taught in Italian and/or English language. At the end of the courses students will receive a diploma.
